Executive Women of Goizueta Honor Laura Grams with Guiding Star Award
During this year’s 2009 Executive Women of Goizueta Conference, held at the W Hotel Downtown, the Guiding Star Award was presented to Laura Grams, Global Director of the award winning Learning and Development Solutions Group at Cisco. The Guiding Star Award is the annual recognition of an up-an-coming businesswoman who guides others through her professional example, her involvement in her community, and her commitment to her family. The award recognizes someone who leads and mentors others while still attaining exceptional growth in her career. Previous winners of the Guiding Star include Angela Strickland, Helene Lollis and Jacqueline Welch.
Grams is a seasoned leader who brings a strong combination of business, training and organizational development expertise to Cisco’s $40 billion business. She was honored at the lunch by her peers and attendees as the group viewed a video piece created to convey her great achievements.
